A Weekend in Paris: Girls’ Getaway
Our Parisian adventure began with excitement in the air as we landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport on a bright Friday morning. The city of love welcomed us with its iconic charm, and we couldn’t wait to explore. We checked into our chic Airbnb in Le Marais, a district teeming with history, boutiques, and cafes.
First stop, a leisurely brunch at Café de Flore. With buttery croissants and coffee in hand, we mapped out our weekend plans. The day unfolded with a stroll down the Champs-Élysées, where we indulged in some retail therapy, ending at the Arc de Triomphe.
As the sun set, we headed to the Eiffel Tower. Seeing it sparkle against the night sky was magical. The evening culminated in laughter and wine, with the city’s lights twinkling around us.
Saturday was all about art and culture. The Louvre was our first destination, where the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa greeted us. We then wandered through the charming streets of Montmartre, visiting the stunning Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Lunch at a local crêperie provided a perfect mid-day treat.
The afternoon took us to the Seine for a river cruise, offering breathtaking views of Notre-Dame and Musée d'Orsay. We ended our day with a gourmet dinner at Le Jules Verne, perched atop the Eiffel Tower. The fusion of flavors and panoramic views of Paris were incredible.
Our final day, Sunday, was a delightful blend of relaxation and exploration. We enjoyed a leisurely morning at Jardin des Tuileries, followed by a visit to the opulent Palace of Versailles. High tea at Angelina's was the perfect finale before we reluctantly made our way back to the airport.
