Africa is an extremely diverse continent with loads to offer those who visit there, and you are sure to find sights that absolutely amaze you no matter what you enjoy doing.
Here are just a few places you must see in Africa and the reasons why we think they are so incredible.
Nyungwe National Park – Rwanda
An isolated park set 6000 feet above sea level, Nyungwe National Park is located in south west Rwanda and gives visitors the opportunity to see a whole variety of animals, with gorillas being at the top of most peoples' list.
During your trip here you can also expect to see a variety of other primates, but we are sure that you will be most excited about being able to track silverbacks and their groups as part of a once in a lifetime tour.
Victoria Falls
Located on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, Victoria Falls boasts a height of 108 metres and has been measured at cascading at 12,800 cubic metres per second, which is double that of Niagara Falls.
With a width of more than a kilometre, Victoria Falls is the widest waterfall in the word and the sound that it produces can be heard from a distance of 40km away, which definitely makes it an attraction that is not to be missed!
The Giza Pyramids – Egypt
The oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, the Giza Pyramids were built as tombs for Pharoahs and are now a landmark that many people hope to see during their travels.
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest pyramid in the complex standing at 481 feet tall, and all three were built to stand for eternity when work on them started in 2550 B.C. Even today scientists are baffled about how these wonders were built as the engineering involved is so impressive, but it is agreeed that those involved were highly skilled.
These are just a few places that you must see in Africa, but we hope that they have inspired you to order a selection of brochures and find out more about this amazing continent for yourself.
