A Romantic Weekend in Sorrento

Nestled along the beautiful Amalfi Coast, Sorrento is a dream destination for couples seeking a blend of romance, culture, and breathtaking scenery.

We spent our first afternoon wandering the narrow streets of the old town, where every corner seemed to overflow with life. The shops were bursting with vibrant ceramics, and the scent of lemons seemed like it was everywhere.

We stumbled upon Piazza Tasso, where we paused for lunch—fresh seafood pasta and a chilled glass of local wine. Bliss! Later, we made our way to the Villa Comunale gardens. The view from the terrace was breathtaking: the Bay of Naples infront of us, with Mount Vesuvius standing watch.

Dinner that evening was unforgettable. Perched on a cliffside, we feasted on gnocchi alla Sorrentina as the sea shimmered beneath us. A moonlit walk along the promenade ended the perfect day.

On Sunday, we took the ferry to Capri, and what a day it was! The Blue Grotto left us speechless, and a chairlift ride to Monte Solaro gave us the most incredible views. Back in Sorrento, we treated ourselves to gelato before reluctantly heading to the train station.

Sorrento was everything we’d hoped for and more—a picturesque slice of Italian paradise. It may have been just a weekend, but it felt like stepping into a dream. We’ll definitely be back!
