If you love visiting festivals then you must be trying to decide which ones you would like to buy tickets for this year, and with so many to choose from this can be quite a difficult task.
Here we share our top festivals for 2018, from the UK to Australia, which we think that you will enjoy and could give you the chance to travel to somewhere new too.
Bestival – UK
Based in Dorset, Bestival is one of the UK’s most popular festivals which is organised each year by DJ and record producer Rob da Bank and his wife Josie. Held over four days, this festival features fancy dress opportunities which many of the guests like to take part in and has a non-corporate feel to set it apart from many other UK festivals.
Benicassim – Spain
Boasting a combination of pop, rock and electronica artists, Benicassim festival also features a range of short films, fashion shows and art displays to keep its guests entertained. It is renowned for playing music through the night from 5pm to 8am and has three main stages which give people plenty of opportunities to dance.
Burning Man – USA
Held in Nevada, the Burning Man festival offers something a little different as the people who attend are encouraged to participate in order to create the artistic place that it is. Combining sculpture, building and performances, this festival also has a theme each year which all of this great creativity revolves around.
Magnetic Fields – India
If you are looking for a festival which offers 3 days of fun then Magnetic Fields could be the option for you. Featuring Indian sounds, underground stars, local legends, art and poetry, you can also take part in kite flying displays, stargazing and yoga.
Golden Plains – Australia
Set in Victoria, the Golden Plains festival is based in Australian bushland with stunning views across farmland, giving it a very relaxing feel. This festival hosts a number of amazing music acts who perform in the natural amphitheatre and is non-commercial so has no sponsors or signage displayed on the stage.
You are sure to love one of these top festivals for 2018, and with the opportunity to visit somewhere new you can tie it into a fantastic holiday too.
