Great Holidays for Cheese Lovers

Cheese is a favourite food of many people, and there’s no better place to eat it than the area where it is produced. So why not plan one of these great holidays for cheese lovers and indulge in your favourite treat whilst finding out all about how it is made too.

Normandy, France

Boasting a stunning coastline, lush countryside, and pretty towns, Normandy is a lovely place to visit on holiday, regardless of whether you love cheese or not!

Known for a number of delicious cheeses, the most famous type to come out of Normandy is Camembert which was first produced in a town of the same name. In Camembert you will find a Cheese museum shaped like a Camembert, the house where the inventor of Camembert lived, and the President Farm where you can learn all about how the cheese is produced.

Alternatively, you can eat Manchego as part of your dessert by pairing it with honey and nuts for something different but delicious.

Gruyères, Switzerland
